The thought of Victor Oladipo helping to lead the Miami Heat back to the NBA Finals has officially gone up in smoke. On Wednesday, the Miami Heat announced that the oft-injured guard has opted to have season-ending surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his right quadriceps.
UPDATE: Victor Oladipo has decided to undergo season-ending surgery on his right quadriceps tendon. The surgery will take place tomorrow in New York. There is no timetable for his return at this time.
Oladipo has only played 87 games since the 2018 season.
