Roberto Firmino is leaning towards a fresh deal at Liverpool despite attracting interest from Saudi clubs... as the Brazilian weighs up his future at Anfield with new Reds star Cody Gakpo set to lessen his game time

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino is attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia but is still leaning towards signing a new deal at Anfield.

The Brazilian forward, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season, has been a popular player amongst Reds fans since his £29million arrival from Hoffenheim in 2015, helping the club win several titles including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

Firmino was once a mainstay in Jurgen Klopp's side but has watched his game time deplete in recent campaigns, chalking up just 20 league appearances last season compared to his previous tallies of 34, 38 and 36 between 2018-19 and 2020-21.
