'Pogba should be world's best, but he's not' - Man Utd star 'not producing', says Sharpe

Paul Pogba “should be one of the best players in the world”, says Lee Sharpe, with the Manchester United midfielder falling short of that level as “his standard has not been good enough”.

Consistency has been an issue for the France international throughout a second spell at Old Trafford.

He returned to England in the summer of 2016, with Jose Mourinho breaking United’s transfer record when completing an £89 million ($114m) deal.

Pogba, who is now 25 years of age, was expected to reach his peak with the Red Devils after establishing himself as a global star at Juventus.
