Jose Mourinho believes he already has the 'important players' in his squad which will carry Tottenham into the next five years.

Spurs slumped to a disappointing 3-1 defeat against Sheffield United last Thursday and come into Monday night's clash against Everton 10th in the Premier League, and just a point ahead of the Toffees.

And despite admitting he needs time to rebuild the squad - pointing towards Jurgen Klopp's first match-day squad in 2015 at Liverpool and the turnaround implemented at Anfield - Mourinho believes he already has his 'nucleus' of players.
