The Portland Trail Blazers celebrated their 2010s Decade Night on Tuesday against the Phoenix Suns. Throughout the night, several videos played featuring former players reflecting on their time in Portland and thanking Blazer fans. Among them were LaMarcus Aldridge and Wesley Matthews.
Aldridge highlighted how much the city’s support of the team meant to him:
“I just wanted to say thanks to all the fans. I enjoyed my time here in Rip City. You all were amazing, ya’ll supported us great, you cheered me on night after night, so I just want to say thanks.
