The Portland Trail Blazers entered the NBA’s Disney World bubble as the ninth seed and with a chance at making the NBA Playoffs, which they took full advantage of. Portland won seven of their nine regular-season seeding games, including four straight to clinch the eighth seed and a matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies for a spot in the playoffs. The Blazers dispatched Memphis to earn a date with the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round.
While Portland took Game 1, Los Angeles woke up in the games following, winning the next four matchups to send the Blazers home.
