The Portland Trail Blazers have announced that guard CJ McCollum will be out at least four weeks with a foot injury, a hairline fracture and sprain in his left foot, suffered Saturday night in Portland’s game with the Atlanta Hawks.
After their loss on Monday afternoon to the San Antonio Spurs, the Blazers announced that McCollum had undergone further tests on his ankle that he had injured in the previous game.
Initial images suggested a sprain that would need to be re-evaluated again in a week, but the additional tests revealed more extensive damage than originally suspected.
