The two Northwest Division rivals have met twice thus far in 2016-17, once on each team's home court. Portland won a 115-113 overtime thriller in Denver on October 29 behind Damian Lillard's 27 points, seven assists and five rebounds. CJ McCollum scored seven of his 23 points during the overtime period to lift the Blazers to the road win.
