Timbers Academy goalkeeper Kashope Oladapo has been called up by the U.S. U-17 National Team for the annual Nike International Friendlies. The tournament will mark the team’s first matches since competing in the FIFA U-17 World Cup in October.
The U.S. U-17s will face England (Nov. 29), Netherlands (Dec. 1) and Brazil (Dec. 3) during the International Friendlies from Nov. 29 to Dec. 3 in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.
Oladapo is one of four goalkeepers that make up U.S. U-17 National Team head coach John Hackworth’s 24-player roster for the tournament.
“To begin the new U-17 cycle with the Nike International Friendlies competing against traditional world powers is a big challenge,” Hackworth said.
