PORTLAND, Ore. --- Former Portland Pilots standout Benji Michel is one of 21 players called in to the U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team camp, which is taking place in Harriman, Utah. It's the third U-23 training camp held this year under the guidance of head coach Jason Kreis.
Michel is in his first year playing with Orlando City SC of Major League Soccer. After three years with the Pilots, Michel signed a homegrown contract with Orlando City in December. He's made three appearances and one start this season.
Michel ended his career at Portland with 31 goals, eight assists, 70 points, and 12 game-winners.
