The WPIAL is entering the final week of the 2018 regular season. To date, 50 of the 62 playoff spots have been clinched. This week’s schedule features a number of big games with Conference Titles on the line and teams fighting for the last few playoff spots. There are also a number of Casket Matches this week where the winner will go to the playoffs and the loser will go home to get ready for basketball season. To calculate the WPIAL standings and determine which teams make the playoffs, the WPIAL first considers conference record, then head-to-head results, then Gardner Points, then Tiebreaker Points.
