Three-Star OL Carretta commits to Pitt

Ryan Carretta visited Pitt last weekend and quietly told Pat Narduzzi and staff that he was going to commit. One week later, he made his commitment public via a tweet. He becomes the Panthers second offensive line recruit in the 2023 class.

Carretta is a 6'5" 310-pound tackle from Columbus, Ohio who chose the Panthers over offers from Michigan State, Duke, Akron and others. According to 247Sports, Carretta is the 23rd best prospect in Ohio and 58th best tackle in the country.

He joins running back Montravious Smith, linebacker Braylon Lovelace and safety/linebacker Rasheem Biles as the known commitments from last week's group of visitors.
