Coming into the 2025 season, all Pittsburgh Steelers defensive lineman Cameron Heyward wanted was a chance to try and earn more money, getting an incentives-based raise from the franchise after earning another All-Pro accolade last season.
At this rate, though, Heyward isn’t going to reach those incentives and isn’t having the type of year many hoped he would after being a dominant force last season. Though he still remains a good run defender, Heyward hasn’t been much of a factor rushing the passer.
He stated earlier in the season he wasn’t happy with his play, and he’s been a bit irritated in recent weeks in general, which is understandable.
