For the two to work together for nearly 20 years, the relationship has to be strong, and former coach Dave Wannstedt confirmed that based on first-hand knowledge.
Joining FOX Sports’ The Herd Friday, Wannstedt says his own interactions with both makes it clear the two are peas in a pod.
“I was back there in June for the U.S. Open and I had lunch with Art Rooney,” Wannstedt told the show.
