Steelers ‘Overpaid’ For DK Metcalf, Ray Fittipaldo Says: ‘Been No Sign’ Of Improvement

The Steelers were at the center of the NFL news cycle when they broke character and traded for DK Metcalf. But 12 games into his first season, are they happy with what they have gotten in return? Not only did they give up a second-round pick, but they also signed him to a $30 million APY contract.

Metcalf has seen 75 targets on the season, catching 45 passes for 605 yards and five touchdowns. He also has a sixth touchdown on a pitch that officials deemed a run. But he hasn’t cracked 50 yards in the past five games, nor found the end zone.
