It’s not often I get to mention the Supreme Court of the United States in this spot but that’s what I’m doing today. That’s because they decided that an early ’90’s federal law prohibiting states (other than Nevada) from gambling on sports was unconstitutional. What this means is that some states like New Jersey could start taking bets as soon as two weeks. Other states like Pennsylvania could be up and running in a matter of months. As of right now, placing bets from your phone won’t be allowed but that’s likely coming.
