Report: Still No Timetable On Return Of New Steelers TE Ladarius Green

After missing the first half the Pittsburgh Steelers 2016 training camp, it appears as though new tight end Ladarius Green is well on his way to missing the rest of it.

According to Chris Bradford of the Beaver County Times, Green, who signed a four-year, $20 million free agent contract early on in the offseason, said Saturday that there is currently no timetable on his return and that he’s currently “taking it day by day.”

Green, who spent his first four years in the league with the San Diego Chargers, underwent offseason ankle surgery that reportedly included a plate being inserted and a ligament being repaired.
