Lion Lose Another Key Starter In Secondary For Week 16 Steelers Matchup

The Detroit Lions lost CB Terrion Arnold for the season last week, and now lose a starting safety as well. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on X, Brian Branch tore his achilles on Thursday Night Football and is out for the season. The Lions secondary will look much different by the time the Steelers play them in Week 16.

Branch has been an impact player for the Lions since he was drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He received votes for defensive rookie of the year in his first season, and then made his first Pro Bowl last year.
