In the first two weeks of the season, Pittsburgh Steelers nose tackle Keeanu Benton struggled from a run-defense perspective, not to mention generating pressure on the quarterback.
At times, he was the biggest issue with the Steelers’ run defense, getting blown off of the football, struggling to get off blocks and failing to make any plays. But in Week 3 at New England a switch flipped in Benton.
Then Benton was outstanding in Week 4, turning in one of the best performances of his career. He generated 1.5 sacks, played the run very well, and was in the backfield consistently, wrecking the game.
