Ben Roethlisberger only played one season with Pat Freiermuth, but he came away with a very high opinion of the young tight end. He’s been calling for the Pittsburgh Steelers to get him more involved ever since, but the 2025 season has reached a new low only a year after Freiermuth signed a four-year extension.
Much like the rest of us, Roethlisberger can’t begin to understand why the Steelers aren’t using Freiermuth more this season.
“It blows my mind,” Roethlisberger said Friday via 102.5 WDVE’s Morning Show with Randy Baumann. “I don’t get it. I don’t know what’s going on.
