For a Pittsburgh Steelers front office and coaching staff that’s taken plenty of heat for dealing WR George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys, Thursday night was something of a vindication. Or, at least, an explanation of why Pittsburgh moved on from the talented but unpredictable receiver. After his worst game of the season that ended in a crucial loss, Pickens is feeling the heat from analysts and fans who didn’t see a quality effort Thursday night against the Detroit Lions.
Pickens finished the game with five receptions for 37 yards, the latter his second-lowest output of the season.
