No unit has been as hot and cold as the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense this year, sometimes looking like the worst defense in the league, and other times shutting down the Indianapolis Colts and their league-leading offense.
With that Colts game fresh in everybody’s mind, is the Pittsburgh defense back?
“Back to what?” Bill Cowher said dismissively on CBS Sports’ NFL Today. “They’ve gotten takeaways, and I think that you look at the two games they’ve beaten the two AFC teams, New England, they had five turnovers. Indianapolis they had six takeaways. In both those games they won by one touchdown, right?
