Arthur Smith Believes Adam Thielen Acquisition Can Boost Entire Receiver Room

The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired Adam Thielen off waivers earlier this week, and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith thinks the oldest wide receiver in the NFL could be an asset to the rest of the room.

“He’s got a lot of experience, he can add a lot of things to the room, in terms of guys watching his habits, the way he runs routes. We’ll see where it goes,” Smith said Thursday of Thielen via Chris Adamski of TribLive on Twitter.

As for Thielen’s availability for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, Smith was noncommittal but said the team will try to have him ready.
