With pitchers and catchers reporting to Bradenton today, the Pittsburgh Pirates will be setting out on a new course in 2020. The team has brought in basically a completely new Front Office and Coaching Staff. While they brought in some new players, they did not make to many moves to really alter the current roster. Of course, the biggest move was the trade of Starling Marte, but coming back in that deal were two young prospects who will not impact the roster in 2020.
The theory behind this is that new General Manager Ben Cherington and company want to take stock of what they currently have on the team.
