The Penguins have acquired center Derick Brassard from Ottawa, according to multiple reports.
According to TSN’s Darren Dreger, the Penguins will give up a first-round pick, goalie prospect Filip Gustavsson and “other cap related elements” in exchange for Brassard, who has 18 goals and 20 assists in 58 games for Ottawa this season. Ian Cole will also head to Ottawa in the deal, the Post-Gazette has learned.
