When the Penguins took on the Capitals last week at PPG Paints Arena, the team was trailing early in the game and it took a comeback effort to pull off the victory.
Part of the victory that ended up being a key piece was Teddy Blueger’s 3-on-5 shorthanded goal that came during the 2nd period.
At the time, the Penguins were trailing 4-2 and the goal helped them get back within a goal.
Teddy Blueger's goal marks the first 5-on-3 shorthanded goal scored by Pittsburgh since Matt Cooke scored one on Feb.
