With a lineup full of stars making their preseason debuts, the Penguins lost to the Blues, 4-1, Sunday night at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry.

The game was hosted at the Penguins’ practice facility as part of the NHL’s “Hockeyville” promotion, which was won by the Rostraver Ice Garden in Belle Vernon. The arena was later deemed unfit to host an NHL game, and the contest was moved to Cranberry.

The Penguins took a 1-0 lead early in the first period on a goal from Jake Guentzel off a 2-on-1 with Sidney Crosby, who was playing in his first preseason game.
