Kris Letang will be in the lineup for the Penguins' game against the Flames at PPG Paints Arena on Monday at 7 p.m., Mike Sullivan confirmed.
Sunday was Letang's first practice with the team since he was injured on Nov. 4, and he was a full participant. After Sunday's practice, Sullivan said the plan was to see how Letang responded overnight and that he would likely be a game time decision. Instead of being a game-time decision, Letang is officially in the lineup, so there were presumably no issues after practice.
On Sunday the Penguins used the following defense pairings in practice:
Brian Dumoulin – Kris Letang
Jack Johnson – John Marino
Marcus Pettersson – Zach Trotman
Juuso Riikola – Chad Ruhwedel
Letang also practiced on the top power play unit on Sunday alongside Evgeni Malkin, Jake Guentzel, Patric Hornqvist, and Bryan Rust.
