After the Los Angeles Clippers dismissed Chris Paul last week, the Phoenix Suns now have a prime opportunity to sign him and re-unite him with Devin Booker in what will be his final professional season. The Suns fanbase would undoubtedly be overjoyed to see the duo that took this franchise to the NBA Finals back together, and frankly, they should never have been separated in the first place.
NBA Insider Jake Fischer reported that the Suns had interest in Paul before the season started. He writes: League sources say Paul had interest from teams such as the Bucks, Knicks, Mavericks and Suns, but he was determined to stay as near to his family as possible even after playing (and starting) all 82 games in his lone season as a San Antonio Spur.
