Maybe Monty Williams didn't notice it at training camp last year, but he's seeing more communication among the players in preparing for the NBA season restart.
"I think the guys, especially (Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton), are reading things and talking more when we put them in certain situations," Williams said during Friday's media call in Florida.
"And they probably did it last year more than I recognize, but I can see a little bit of communication on certain reads and things they want to do on the floor that probably wasn't there last year in Flagstaff because they were trying to understand Point-5, spacing and what to do when Book gets blitzed.
