Phoenix Suns look to bounce back against San Antonio Spurs

SAN ANTONIO – Devin Booker was looking forward to facing San Antonio again after Phoenix fell to the Spurs by a deuce for the second time this season.

“We’ll see them next week,” Booker said after the 120-118 loss at Talking Stick Arena.

The Suns were hoping to go into their third and final game against the Spurs with momentum, but were drilled by Indiana, 112-87, Wednesday night. So they enter this three-game road trip losers of their last two games and losing ground on the eighth and final playoff spot.

“We knew this wasn’t going to happen overnight, but that does make it frustrating when you can see the spurts when we’re all out there together and we’re playing at a high level compared to games like last night when you just get our ass kicked,” Booker said.
