Shane Doan takes a seat in what used to be his locker at the IceDen Scottsdale, smiling and preparing to answer yet another set of questions regarding his jersey retirement ceremony on Sunday at Gila River Arena.
Doan had already endured a 20-minute press conference with a glut of reporters, TV anchors and other media members. After then obliging to one-on-one interviews with each reporter in attendance, Doan made his way onto the ice of the newly renamed Shane Doan Rink and patiently posed for a photoshoot with The Republic.
