The Arizona Coyotes announced today that they have recalled goaltender Darcy Kuemper. Kuemper had been with the Tucson Roadrunners for conditioning after returning from injuries.
The Coyotes first acquired Kuemper two seasons ago in exchange for Tobias Rieder and Scott Wedgewood. Last season when goaltender Antti Raanta was sidelined with injuries he stepped up and took the role of starter.
Kuemper looked extremely good this season before being sidelined with injuries. Before going down he played in 25 games where he posted a 15-8-2 record and a 2.17 goals-against average and a .
