Brad Richardson, like any Coyotes player participating in the NHL's return-to-play protocol at Gila River Arena, must take his own temperature before making the drive to Glendale.

Upon arriving at the arena, Richardson's temperature is taken once more. There, Richardson receives a mask and gloves and begins his day of work in what the NHL is calling "Phase 2" of its plan to restart the 2020-21 season.

"We walk in and all the trainers have masks on and everything has been sanitized," Richardson said on a conference call with reporters on Tuesday.
