Arizona Coyotes trade Tobias Rieder, Scott Wedgewood to Los Angeles Kings

The Arizona Coyotes have traded forward Tobias Rieder and goaltender Scott Wedgewood to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for goaltender Darcy Kuemper, the team announced Wednesday.

According to Bob McKenzie of TSN, Kuemper is also receiving a two-year extension for $1.85 million per year with the Coyotes.

Rieder tallied eight goals and 11 assists with the Coyotes this season and accumulated 111 points over parts of four seasons in Arizona. Wedgewood was acquired from the New Jersey Devils on Oct. 28 and has posted a 5-9-4 record in 17 starts.

The 27-year-old Kuemper has appeared in 19 games with the Kings this season and has logged a 10-1-3 record to go along with a 2.
