The Arizona Coyotes have today announced that forward prospect Ben McCartney has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the club.
McCartney was originally selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft, having played his junior hockey with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League.
After being selected by the Coyotes, McCartney returned to Brandon to further his development - putting up impressive numbers in a shortened season while also being handed the coveted alternate captain’s ‘A’ for the season.
