The Philadelphia Phillies are expected to shop infielders Cesar Hernandez and Freddy Galvis for pitching help, reports Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia.
The Phillies need to bolster a rotation that is thin when you get past Aaron Nola, and Galvis and Hernandez are logical trade chips.
Hernandez, who is under club control through 2020, could bring back a higher return. The 27-year-old second baseman has emerged as a dependable leadoff hitter, compiling a .294/.372/.406 slash line over the past two seasons.
