LEFT, RIGHT, LEFT: Well, not much news, other than Phils President Andy MacPhail telling Jim Bowden on MLB Network Radio that the team is seeking to add a left-handed bat.
I’m surprised he’d even say that much, considering it clues agents of said left-handed bats to the Phils’ interest. But anyway, it seemed obvious the team was still in the market for something.
Left-handed bats available in free agency include outfielders Michael Saunders, Brandon Moss, Colby Rasmus, Michael Bourn, Kelly Johnson and Alejandro de Aza.
