The Spring Breakout games take place over the next couple of days, with the Philadelphia Phillies prospects facing the Minnesota Twins on March 19, followed by a showdown with the Toronto Blue Jays on March 21. Even though Justin Crawford and Andrew Painter will make the Phillies' Opening Day roster and Aidan Miller is sidelined with a back injury, Philadelphia still has several notable prospects looking to impress in these contests.
Many of the Phillies' prospects participating in the games are still multiple years away from making the majors. However, some will begin the year in Triple-A with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, or others could be promoted to Lehigh Valley by the end of the regular season.
