We’ve all seen several names get tossed around as potential candidates, from Jim Caldwell to USC Trojans offensive coordinator Graham Harrell to the Eagles own running backs coach Duce Staley. Rumor has it that Eagle Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie would rather see an outside hire, someone with experience as an OC. The melting pot of potential hires seems to grow every day, but Caldwell, someone that was rumored to be a favorite early in the process, is still the best option if the Eagles truly want to maximize their offense’s potential.
