There’s not a whole lot to be happy about when watching the Philadelphia Eagles defensive secondary from this past Sunday’s game. Although the Eagles squeaked out the win with some clutch plays by the defensive backs, in the end, there was still some significant issues that need to be addressed moving forward. Just because it wasn’t all flawless though, doesn’t mean certain defenders can’t be happy with their progression.
Take second-year cornerback Sidney Jones, for example. We haven’t heard his name a lot, but understand that’s a good thing. Since Jones is in the nickel, it may be a little bit harder to spot him.
