It wasn’t supposed to be this way. When the Philadelphia Eagles entered their bye week, they were a .500 team. They were supposed to take a week off, come back refreshed, and, then, go on that run we all knew they were capable of. They had just added Golden Tate for crying out loud.
That run doesn’t seem as though it’s going to happen.
Since the bye, Philly’s 0-2, and they appear to be getting worse with each passing moment. The loss to the Dallas Cowboys was a shock to many, and though few expected them to beat the New Orleans Saints, no one expected a 48-7 shellacking.
