The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired some new defensive ammo over the last week. One of their latest additions was a 23-year-old hometown kid from the Carolina Panthers. Daryl Worley, a Philadelphia native, will compete for a role in the Eagles defensive backfield this summer. Although the team is loaded up with cornerbacks, Worley has two years worth of experience under his belt.
The former West Virginia Mountaineer held his introductory press conference with the Eagles on Monday afternoon. Although it was brief, we received a decent amount of information from Worley based on where his head is at now that he is on the Eagles.
