Now the Eagles have two open roster spots ahead of training camp

The Philadelphia Eagles waived wide receiver Devin Ross with a non-football injury designation on Tuesday, according to an official announcement from the team. It’s unclear exactly how he got hurt.

In any case, Ross was always a long shot to make the team. The Eagles signed him as a camp body during organized team activities back in late May. As you can see in the picture above this article, Ross wore the No. 3 jersey during his brief stint in Philly.

The combination of Ross getting waived and offensive tackle Tyreek Burwell retiring means that the Eagles will now have two open spots on the 90-man offseason roster ahead of 2019 training camp.
