With the 191st pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select ... Tarron Jackson, defensive end, Coastal Carolina!
The Eagles had a need for more defensive end depth. Brandon Graham, Derek Barnett, and Josh Sweat are the only three locks to be on the team this season. Joe Ostman and Matt Leo are competing to make the roster.
From a long-term perspective, Graham turned 33 in April and has 10 NFL seasons under his belt. Barnett and Sweat currently aren’t under contract beyond 2021.
Jackson, who had some good college production, will have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot as a depth/developmental player.
