That was Howie Roseman, about 14 months ago, speaking at the 2018 Wharton People Analytics Conference. This quote concludes the story of some free agent signing — I think it’s Alshon Jeffery — that owner Jeffery Lurie originally opposed, but changed his tune upon listening to Roseman and taking a look at the various data that Roseman presented.
