Eagles agree to one-year deal with WR Mike Wallace

The Eagles agreed to a one-year deal with veteran wide receiver Mike Wallace, a league source confirmed. Wallace will give the Eagles the deep threat they lost when they traded Torrey Smith.

The NFL Network first reported the news.

Wallace, 31, is a former Pro Bowler whose most noted skill is his deep speed. He’s averaged 15 yards per catch during his nine-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, and Baltimore Ravens. Wallace spent the past two seasons in Baltimore. He had 52 catches for 748 yards and four touchdowns last season. Wallace has topped 1,000 receiving yards three times in his career and 19 of his 57 career touchdowns have gone for 40 yards or more.
