Ten games, a 5-5 win-loss total. It wasn’t supposed to be this way for the Philadelphia Eagles. They were never supposed to lose to the Detroit Lions. They were never supposed to lose to the Atlanta Falcons. They were supposed to go down to Arlington and make an example of the hated Dallas Cowboys on the national stage. They should have been a conversation piece in everyone’s NFL Power rankings all season.
Instead, Dallas embarrassed them. They lost to Atlanta and Detroit, and it feels like things will get worse before they get better as in Week 12, they host a very strong Seattle Seahawks team.
