According to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, the Sixers have hired Lindsey Harding as a full time scout for the 2018-2019 season. Harding was named the Naismith College Player of the Year following a stellar 2007 season at Duke. The spring following her 2007 season, Harding was selected #1 overall in the WNBA Draft. The 34-year-old retired from the WNBA in 2017 after nine seasons.
Harding spoke with ESPN:
“I knew I wanted to work with the team. That’s the one thing that you miss most from playing -- being part of a team, competing, and trying to win a championship,” she said.
