Amir Johnson spent his previous two seasons playing for Boston, but the the 76ers forward/center won’t be getting too sentimental in facing his old team when the Sixers host the Celtics in Friday’s home opener at the Well Fargo Center.

When asked after today’s shootaround if it will be special facing his old teammates, Johnson got quickly to the point.

“No,” he said.

He then expanded on what will be special.

“It is going to be a fun night,” said Johnson, who averaged 6.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 20.1 minutes for the Celtics last season.
